۲۲ آذر ۴۲۷، غزنین، دانشمند و ریاضی‌دان، ستاره‌شناس، تقویم‌شناس،
انسان‌شناس، هندشناس، تاریخ‌نگارِ بزرگِ ایرانی و همه‌چیزدان در سدهٔ چهارم
و پنجم هجری است. بیرونی را بزرگ‌ترین دانشمندِ مسلمان و یکی از بزرگ‌ترین
دانشمندانِ ایرانی در همهٔ اعصار می‌دانند.همچنین او را پدرانسان‌شناسی و
